Earth Day at Town Park in West Oakland was a fun day in the sun with exciting live performances (Las Rakas, Richelle Scales Project, Roots & Branches), skate contests, prizes and mural painting.

Alternatives in Action’s Sound Recording Studio is throwing a block party to create a fun and safe space for the youth in our community. We will have a potluck brought by our class to showcase the many cultures we have, as well as free refreshments and food. Our goal is to address the violence happening in many of our communities and create alternatives. We will have live music and a collaborative art project. We are throwing a block party for preventing violence in our community. We need performers of any kind of talent you would like to perform. Auditions will be held at the Bay Area School of Enterprise SRS class (Sound Recording Studio). This is a block party for all families and children of all ages. 

We are looking for:
-Rappers 
-Singers
-Poets 
-Dancers
-Bands 
-Live graffiti
-Art 
-Etc.

TNT (Trials N Tribulations( Mixtape

After a full semester of learning, experimentation and practice the Sound Recording Studio after school class is proud to present our fall mixtape entitled “TNT (Trials N Tribulations)” The project boasts 19 tracks and features lots of instrumentals, a handful of songs plus a couple mini-mixes.
